Proud and pious

As opposed to the homosexual community in Israel, which is often in direct conflict with religious decrees, many gay Jews in the United States are actively religious.

Synagogues across the U.S. appeal directly to gay congregations, and both Reform and Conservative Jews allow homosexuals to become rabbis.
