Tragedy in France - Press Release from our Member Organization Beit Haverim
PRESS RELEASE March 19th 2012
The members of Beit Haverim heard with horror of the tragedy that took place this morning at the Ozar Hatorah high school of Toulouse. The news reached the whole Jewish community, but also every French citizen, as this heinous act is inconsistent with the value s of the Republic. Deeply affected and shocked by this violent attack which wounds us in the flesh and in the heart, the Board of Beit Haverim, along with all our members and supporters would like to express our compassion and solidarity with the victims and their families. In these painful moments, our thoughts turn to them.

Le BEIT HAVERIM a appris avec horreur et effroi la tragédie qui s’est déroulée ce matin dans le collège-lycée Ozar Hatorah de Toulouse. Ce drame atteint la communauté juive dans son ensemble. Mais également chaque citoyen, tant cet acte odieux contrevient aux valeurs de la République.
Profondément marqué et choqué par cet attentat barbare qui le blesse dans sa chair et dans son cœur, le conseil d’administration du BEIT HAVERIM ainsi que l’ensemble de ses adhérents et sympathisants tient à exprimer sa solidarité avec les victimes et leurs familles. En ces instants douloureux, nos pensées s’adressent à eux.
