The 2009 NUJLS Conference will be held April 3rd to the 5th at the University of Pennsylvania!

The annual Conference for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and intersex Jewish students from around the United States and Canada, the NUJLS conference is open for registration. Held over a weekend, and co-hosted by a campus Hillel, the NUJLS leadership conference features community building, speakers, text study, and workshops on topics such as Judaism and homosexuality, activism, relationships, ethics, coming out, and politics. More than this, the NUJLS conference is a home community for LGBTQQI Jews of all backgrounds, from secular to religious, renewal to orthodox, closeted to way out, those beginning the converstion to those born Jewish. Speakers and students come from all across the United States and Canada. Registration is $80US and covers all conference events, Kosher food, and housing. NUJLS is committed to allowing anyone to attend regardless of ability to pay. Thus scholarships and financial assistance are given to those in need.
NEW this year we will be offering a LGBT Jewish student leadership training, with workshops designed for LGBT Jewish students who lead campus groups or wish to take leadership roles in NUJLS.
